All tuckered out!

Bedtime could not come sooner enough last night. I was so tired. The big people played with me a lot during the day. First, she threw the ball and I chased it until my tongue was hanging out and then, he came home and threw the ball some more. Even though I was so tired I just love running through the house to chase that ball and when I can catch it, I get so excited.
For a very short time I also had a little friend visit. She is so cute but so little. I actually feel like a giant next to her. I don't really understand why the big people get so excited when the two of us are together. I'm not going to hurt her and I really, do want to be her friend. They just act like I am going to eat her up or something.
I get so excited when I see her. I want her to like me so much but I'm not sure if she will because they just will not let us be together.

Anyway, yesterday was a really great day with all the playing and the friend time. I was just so tired I could not keep my eyes open.

A new friend

It's exciting times at my house. Earlier this week we had a visitor. It was not the big one. The big white one. I like him a lot. No, it was a very, very little black fur ball. She came over and all the big people were just making over her so much. Just like she was all that and a bag of doggie chews! I was really excited and wanted to be her friend but then, she went away. I was sad. I really, really like to play.
Then today, the most exciting thing happened. She came back. This time they let her get down and play. We went outside to play together. She is so little. I have to be so careful with her. I guess that is why the big people keep holding on to me.
I wonder how long she will stay.

A great life!

It was suggested that a blog be started to chronicle the antics of our puppy. She is a naughty dog that we love very much. She came into our lives around March 10, 2008. We had to put our beloved Holly down around February because she was very sick. It was sad. i did'nt really think I would want another dog but I did.
Bella is polar opposite of Holly. Poor Holly would turn over in her grave is she saw some of the things that Bella gets away with and how we treat her.
Bella has more toys that Holly ever had.
Of course, Holly came along when the girls were little and my primary concern was them. I had no time for a dog. Gary cared for Holly.
Now, as a semi empty nester, I have time to shower my attention on Bella. Buy her toys. Play with her. Love on her. Enjoy the unconditional love she gives me.
So, stay tuned for more post about our life with Bella.
