My favorite Spot
It's been an exhausting day. I've chased squirrels and that pesky cat that lives next door. I have sat by the window looking at all the birds and the watching the cars and people go by. I played a very strenuous game of catch with the momma. I stayed in the kitchen and guarded momma as she was busy making food.

Let me teach you somethings
Always run to greet loved ones when they come home.
Never pass the opportunity to go for a joy ride.
Recognize the ecstasy of fresh air and wind in your face.
Take naps. (I do that!)
Stretch before rising.
Run, romp and play daily.
Thrive on attention (I do that) and let people touch you.
Avoid biting when a simple growl will do.
On warm days, lie on your back in the grass. On hot days, drink lots of water and find the shade.
When you're happy, dance around and wag your entire body.
Enjoy long walks.
Be loyal.
Never pretend to be something you're not.
If what you want is buried, dig deep until you find it.
And, when someone is having a bad day, be silent, sit close by and nuzzle them gently.

I just know they will come home soon!
All day long while my family is away, I wait for them to come home. I wait, and wait and wait. Sometimes it takes a very long time for them to come back to me, but I'm pretty sure they will always come back home.
When I think I see them in the driveway, I get oh so excited and start jumping up and down. Once they are actually walking in front of the window, I make a mad dash for the door so I can be right there when they come through the door.
